Languages and inheritance tree

Ergonode offers many options for managing the language versions of all content. We do not mean the interface language, but description of products or names of user-created attributes.

To better understand how linguistic structures work here, please see the picture below. We call it an inheritance tree.

Based on the example above, imagine your default language is English - we call it root language. This will be the overriding language from which all content will be inherited if you do not add translations for another languages.

However, you can manipulate the language inheritance in your system in any way you want. For example, if you are given translations of your attributes for the Polish language, and you want to create versions of those attributes in Czech, these contents will be inherited according to the above tree.
